Chicago is our heart. We have both grown up around Chicago and have been experiencing all the perks of living near a massive city. They have been coming to Chicago and doing art markets for over 5 years. The community surrounding artist, local vendors, handmade, etc. is so extensive in Chicago. SO much support and love!! Chicago will forever be the home of Garden Gypsy. We are pretty much doing only Chicago events!! All the street markets are the best!

what do you love about your business, your industry.

WE love honestly knowing how many people support out art and our passions. The come back customers are the reason we love doing business. WE are really making an impact. We especially love being able to work with children because of our business. It has opened the door to many workshops and classes teaching children about minerals and gems. We love supporting other artist too and having such one of a kind items!! It is good fad that is happening and we are so happy to be apart of this consicous business world.

tell us about your design inspiration - space, smells, colors, textures.

Our design inspiration is from EARTH. We also enjoy really pushing the color and metal mixing possibilities. As simple as it is, we are so blessed to experience four season and all the colors the seasons offer. We love working with earth gems. And combining such earth tones that anyone will love. We also feel so connected to the energy crystals give off that we make a lot of intuitive pieces that calling out to a certain energy. We believe in color therapy and we utilize the gifts earth has offered in beautiful adornments.

what advice do you have for other creative entrepreneurs?

To keep creating even if it isn't moving or people are noticing. Art is art and the creation or birthing process should always happen even if you are not making money.

name 3 local makers/brands that inspire you and why.

Intutive Essence: She is a boss babe with a unique product that aligns to our business. Principe Palmistry: Teresa is so sweet and has such a unique business. We always love working next to healers. The maker is The Winding Road: Marla. She is smart and amazing at marketing. We always will look up to her because of how well her business is doing!

what is the best advice you've ever been given and how has it shaped you and your business?

the best advise was from Steph's grandma who said no women can have enough jewelry. We love making beautiful things and even though jewelry doesn't feed us, it is still so beautiful and just as important as flowers. Feeling beautiful is the secret to a good life.

We cannot wait to share our beautiful crystals and creations with everyone including all the other artist at Covet.
